A healthy and beautiful skin thanks to aromatic herbs!
We decorate our dishes with herbs to get more gustatory pleasure. But quite often, we ignore that some of those herbs are a source of body benefit as well. Let’s find out which surprising properties those well-known herbs have. In the kitchen, of course, but also in the bathroom !
Rosemary’s soothing scent relaxes every single part of your body. Also, rosemary’s flavored oil can help you to get rid of hair loss and scratching scalp.
A skin care to prepare in an instant : let brew some rosemary’s branches in olive oil for a few days in a tightly closed container. To get better results, apply the mixture at the roots and leave on during your night of sleep.
Did you know that mint is an excellent source of antioxidant ? It will naturally boost your skin. Antioxidants moisturize skin to provide a natural radiance. Furthermore, mint is rich in salicylic acid. Therefore, it is the perfect component to fight against skin blemishes.
DIY mask : mix a handful of mint leaf with a tablespoon of yoghurt, a teaspoon of lime juice. Blend the components together et apply all over your face. Leave on for 10 minutes then washed out with water.
Sage is perfect to clean your skin. You can prepare a lotion based warm water and sage.
How : fill up a bowl of warm water, add some sage leaf, some slices of cucumber and a drop of lime juice. Let it infuse for 10 minutes. And then, simply wash your face with this natural lotion.
Thyme’s perfume puts your body into a deep relaxation. Fill up a bathtub with hot water and put a few thyme branches in it. Relaxation and pleasure guaranteed.
Despite their great virtues, DIY mask requires some caution. It is recommended to test the preparation beforehand on a little part of the face in order to prevent allergy. When using essential oils in the mixture, be careful with the quantity : a few drops are enough.
